Although JD Williams claims that they have more than 85% of their customers recommending them, it doesn’t look like it much. There have been disappointments about their customer service, product sizes and accuracy to a large extent.

Helen Wood, a customer, writes: “Extremely Disappointed: Order a full set of bedroom furniture from the same collection. Was told it would arrive within 3-5 working days. Bedside tables and dressing table unit arrived within this time (though some came via myhermes and some Dx). The wardrobes were delayed and came 5 days late.. however only box 1 of 3. This was an error on jd Williams part but In order to resolve this we were told we need to order the wardrobes again!! They said they would refund the original payment for the wardrobes within 12 hours. This didn't come through. My husband is still trying to resolve this. I can’t believe that a mess up on their part means we have to pay again and go through all this hassle trying to track down the original payment. Surely the easiest resolution would have been for them to send out boxes 2 and 3?! Clearly this would be far too straight forward. All this messing aside, I have now been without wardrobes since ordering these on 17th may and am now being told they won't arrive until 15th June. I will never ever use jd Williams again!!”
