About Quba

Quba is the British Nautically Inspired Clothing Company which applies traditional sail making craftsmanship skills to make clothes, jackets and other accessories. Quba Sails was founded in 1996 with the idea of producing unique and striking jackets made from new and recycled sailcloth. This soon developed into creating a huge range of customised jackets and bags made from the 'retired' sails of a customer's own yacht or dinghy. Inspired by a shared love of sailing and the outdoor life, Jim and Will, the owner of the Company came up with the concept of using reclaimed canvas sailcloth to make one-off, customisable jackets. The Company was first established in Salcombe, Devon, with a workforce of just one (hugely dedicated) expert seamstress who produces handmade bespoke sailcloth jackets for Quba clients. With 15 stores in south and south-west England, Quba & Co. now employs over 65 people and has big plans for the future.

The Company offers wide range of products for Men which include trousers, jackets, shirts etc. The new menswear collection includes indispensable tees, hoodies and sweats and our favourite cotton shirts in new seasonal colours. These are perfect for those sun soaked days on deck.

At the Company’s Devon sail loft, the Company has drawn inspiration from traditional sail making techniques to create a series of unique sailcloth and canvas bags. Available in various sizes each bag is skilfully pieced together incorporating Quba's nautical designs.

At the Home ware section, the customers can look for furniture and other products starting from sofa's and deckchairs to beanbags and cushions. The sailcloth furniture collection is truly unique and will look amazing in any house or office.

Quba Session Summer Tour

Shipping and Delivery

Below is a summary of the Company’s normal delivery options and charges. 

• All goods must be signed for and will not be left without a signature.
• Please note that products may be sent out from multiple locations and therefore may arrive separately, but the customers won’t incur additional delivery charges as a result.
• The Company cannot guarantee delivery within their usual timescales to a small number of UK remote rural areas and selected countries.
• On rare occasions, some items may be delivered outside the published timed windows.
• For customised products, Sofas and chairs one must allow up to four weeks for the product to be made and delivered to him/her.

Return Policy:

If someone wishes to return anything bought from the Company, the team members will be happy to refund a product provided it is in fully re-saleable condition. All other items should be returned  within 30 days and in original, undamaged packaging. If the product returned is not in fully resalable condition or the packaging is damaged, the Company do reserve the right to refuse a refund on the item, or deduct up to 25% of the original selling price from the refund amount. This does not affect the customer’s statutory rights. 

Payment Option

Quba offers various ways for its customers to pay for their items, including: Visa; MasterCard; Delta; Maestro; Solo; Quba & Co's eVouchers. The customers may use a combination of eVouchers and any payment card which they accept to pay for the order.
